What We Mark During a Hong Kong Morning Clinic
A walk through the annotation sequence used when Asia session opens and two related indices diverge.
When a Saturday clinic opens at 09:30 in Central, the first pack usually holds the Hang Seng cash index, a related futures sheet, and one FX cross with overnight Asia structure. Participants annotate in silence for fifty minutes while instructors walk the aisles without commenting.
The rule-check circle begins with overlaps and truncations. We ask who labelled a fourth wave that entered first-wave territory on an impulse. Those sheets go to the centre table. Degree jumps come next — Minor labels sitting on Intermediate swings are common when two indices diverge after the open.
Markup conferences run in pairs. One instructor handles impulse channels; the other reviews corrective combinations. You leave with copper notes on invalidation and a short list of redraws for Monday. The room clears by 13:30; notebooks stay with you.
