About Cortex Helix Field Academy
We run Elliott wave annotation clinics for traders who want their counts examined under quiet, supervised conditions — pens on paper, rule cards on the table, copper markup on the page.

Official name & origin
The official registered business name is Cortex Helix Field Academy Limited. The academy was established in 2014 when former desk analyst Mira Chen began hosting small Saturday annotation circles in a rented room above Queen’s Road Central. Those circles grew into scheduled clinics after demand from FX and equity desks made informal evenings unsustainable.
Today the academy still occupies a compact floor near The Landmark. The room keeps velvet acoustic panels, lacquered worktables, and printed chart libraries rather than banks of monitors. Instruction remains English-first to match Hong Kong’s mixed trading floors.
Approach
How we work with participants
Clinics prioritise finished annotations over lecture slides. Instructors withhold commentary during the opening quiet hour, then mark overlapping impulses, skipped degrees, and weak invalidation lines in copper ink. We do not issue trade recommendations; the relationship is instructional and evidentiary.

Who leads the floor
Mira Chen — lead instructor. Formerly annotated cross-asset structure for a Central prop desk; now focuses on clinic design and individual markup conferences.
Jonas Ng — second annotator for cohorts above eight. Specialises in corrective combinations and triangle invalidation drills.
